JWC Environmental will receive the prestigious Innovative Technology Award for the 5th time from the Water Environment Federation (WEF), an international nonprofit technical and educational water quality organization. The award will be presented at WEFTEC® 2017, the organization’s 90th Annual Technical Exhibition and Conference this fall in Chicago, IL.
The WEFTEC Innovative Technology Award recognizes JWC’s patent-pending Wipes Ready® Technology for the proactive initiative toward eliminating the evolving problem of clog-causing wipes. The Wipes ReadyTechnology was selected for its groundbreaking 17-tooth cutter design with serrated edges. This breakthrough cutter design provides a two-dimensional cut for wastewater debris such as wipes ensuring that they do not reweave into pump-stopping rag balls. Additionally, the Wipes Ready technologies incorporate features to improve the capture of wipes materials including Delta-P Side Rails, that to hydraulically wash material into the cutters and 1/2″ Perforated Drums which offer 59% better capture than coil drums. This original combination of well-known treatment methods – increased capture & optimized cut control – has produced a unique & environmentally sustainable solution to the growing wipes epidemic.
JWC is offering these technologies for both Muffin Monster and Channel Monster products as well as through its Monster Upgrade Program for existing grinders. Upgrading a grinder paves a direct route to maximizing your Monster investment without purchasing a new unit, providing you continuous treatment without starting from scratch.
