Self-cleaning fine screen for the separation of solids from wastewater

The MevaScreen® RS, DS are self-cleaning fine screens for separating solids from wastewater. Designed to have a very low flow resistance, the screens offer the highest relative capacity of any screen on the market, making them ideal for channels with gravity flow. The RS uses a chain drive mechanism and the DS operates with a unique, chain-less drive.

Automatic Control

MevaScreen RS, DS works intermittently, allowing the operation to be adjusted to incoming flow. A level is installed in the channel in front of the screen. The screen starts when a pre-set water level is reached and operates until the water level is below the pre-set value. The cycle is repeated when the level is reached again.

Features

The design of the MevaScreen RS, DS causes the screening mat to be transported upwards with a circular motion. The MevaScreen RS, DS is resistant to sand, gravel etc., due to the automatic anti-blockage protection at the bottom of the channel.

The MevaScreen DS is manufactured in several version differentiated by discharge height. Each model comes in multiple widths, adapted to even channel widths. The MevaScreen RS, DS is delivered fully encapsulated with a ventilation connection to eliminate odours.
