Improper Marijuana Waste Disposal Shuts Down Alaska Store

| | Industrial Processing News

Marijuana waste – when disposed of improperly will cause crackdown from Marijuana Control Board & revoke permits for non-compliance

AlaskaSense LLC operates a marijuana cultivation facility and a store in Anchorage known as Cannabaska. After failing to pay taxes, officials conducted an inventory audit on the facility. Officials were originally denied access to the facility dumpster due to a “frozen padlock” after accusing the owner to be improperly disposing of their marijuana waste.

During their search, investigators came across marijuana buds, leaves and stems on the ground next to a dumpster outside the facility.

Smadar Warden, owner of AlaskaSense LLC, has now had his handler permit revoked by the Alaska Marijuana Control Board, thus shutting down the entire business.
