American Bureau of Shipping Certification for the Monster Industrial HYDRO MARPOL Grinders

JWC Environmental continues to bring customers the best technologies in the waste shredder industry.  We have again attained a certification of approval for our legendary Monster waste grinder.  This time the nod of approval comes from ABS, the American Bureau of Shipping.  Our MARPOL grinders (also known as the HYDRO series) are perfect for meeting MARPOL Annex V food waste disposal requirements for at sea vessels or to protect ship sewage systems from clogs.

The certificate of design assessment (PDF)allows for any Monster waste grinder to be used in any ocean-going vessel as a waste grinder.  This Type Approval is granted only after a manufacturer undergoes a Product Design Assessment (PDA) review through the American Bureau of Shipping Engineering.
