Kudos from Colorado

Dear JWC:

I wanted to e-mail you regarding some great customer service that REC has been receiving from the staff at JWC. I contacted Gary Weller yesterday about some electronic O&M manuals. I spoke to Gary at 9:45 am and received the manuals at 10:30 am. WOW! After I sent Gary a reply that I received them I asked if he could send a O&M manual that was for a job two – three years old (Kiowa) and he had them to me in 30 minutes. AGAIN WOW!

Later in the day I spoke to Mike Wolf regarding some parts for the Kiowa unit. Mike was very helpful and is shipping our parts today. AGAIN WOW WOW!

It is a pleasure doing business with JWC and their excellent staff. It is a rare occurrence in these times to find anyone who excels in customer service. This is another reason why we at Ramey Environmental Compliance recommend JWC for all our installations.

Sincerely,

Wayne Ramey

JWC Expands Georgia Factory

Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010

JWC Environmental, Buford, Georgia

A rising number of orders for Muffin Monster® and Channel Monster® grinders has led JWC to expand its Georgia facility by 7,700 square feet (715 m2) bringing the total manufacturing space to 20,000 sf (1,800 m2).  Wastewater and sludge grinders are already rolling off the expanded assembly line.

The additional space in Buford allows JWC to increase its manufacturing capacity as well as repair and ship grinders to East Coast customers at a faster rate – in some cases shaving a week or more off the turnaround time. In addition, the expansion allows JWC to add more inventory and staffing to the Georgia facility.

“The target is to double monthly grinder shipments over the next 12 months,” said Mark Upton, Director of Operations. “JWC is rapidly expanding and we want to respond to our customers with lightening speed – whether they need service or a new unit.”

“The expansion will increase safety, production and help us maintain the JWC standard of quality,” added Richard Woznick, Operations Manager for Georgia. “Most importantly it allows us to focus more on our customers.”

JWC is also expanding the Georgia leadership team.  Richard was promoted to Operations Manager and will focus on production, staffing and inventory control. James King has been hired as Production Supervisor and will work with Richard to oversee repairs, assembly and quality control. “Rick LeShane, the Eastern Product Support Manager, will focus on customer service and our field service technicians,” added Mark.

The additional space allows Georgia’s hard working and dedicated staff to enhance customer service and ship more Muffin Monster grinders than ever before.

Distribution
JWC Environmental distributes its products through a global network of independent representatives and distributors. In addition, JWC provides extensive sales and service support through regional and international product support centers. Founded in 1973, JWC Environmental and its worldwide family of employees are committed to providing customers leading edge products, services and value. Over the last 35 years JWC has won a total of four Innovative Technology Awards from the Water Environment Federation (WEF), more than any other wastewater manufacturer.

Warm Thanks from a Cold City!

Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009

This just in from Bob A. at the City of Longmont, Colorado:

Dear JWC and Jim Burke,

We appreciate JWC’s support to the City of Longmont with our wastewater screen.  Your customer support to us has been much appreciated.  It contrasts with a lot of other vendors/suppliers we work with who disappear after they make the sale.

For you wastewater info-nuts – here’s a little factoid about their WWTP plant:

The Longmont Wastewater Treatment plant is currently rated to treat up to 17 million gallons per day (MGD). It incorporates primary, secondary and tertiary treatment processes to remove organic and inorganic constituents found in wastewater. Treated plant effluent is discharged to the St. Vrain Creek at an average daily flow of approximately 8.0 MGD. (source – http://www.ci.longmont.co.us/pwwu/ww/index.htm#new)

Idaho Says ‘Thanks!”

Wednesday, November 4th, 2009

Rod Smith at the Burley Idaho WWTP sends his thanks to JWC Product Support staff for all their help. He said Jason Kanawyer was especially helpful in getting the plant and their screens operating the way they should be. Jason was very helpful with extra training support with their Bandcreens and Screenings Washer Monsters. He was also able to take care of a few things the previous contractors had left behind.

Way to go everyone!

Have You Got Your Lucky Muffin Monster Camo Hat?

Tuesday, October 20th, 2009

Check out the cool Muffin Monster camo hat on Kent Guilbeau of Hartwell Environmental, JWC's rep in Texas. The elk is pretty cool too.

JWC representative Kent Guilbeau recently bagged a monster elk during one of his Texas hunting trips. Kent used a bow and arrow, excellent aim and his lucky Muffin Monster camo hat to bring down the big animal.  And look at that beautiful rack of antlers.

Kent is one of the owners of Hartwell Environmental, JWC’s representative in Texas and a member of the prestigious Golden Cutter Club – recognizing outstanding reps for their customer service and sales achievements.

You can get your own Muffin Monster Camouflage Hat – visit the Monster Goods page for ordering info. And you can walk around the treatment plant with your very own lucky Muffy Camo Hat!
