Bar Screen Monster

This highly efficient Bar Screen Monster system is used in headworks, pump stations and CSOs. It is designed to provide quick removal of heavy slugs of debris in order to protect downstream processes.
The Bar Screen Monster is operated by means of a timer, differential level system, high water level or manual controls. The carriage assembly travels up and down the pin rack system mounted in each side via the two involute gears that are keyed to the drive shaft. As the carriage turns around the bottom pin of the pin rack system the rake engages into the bar rack and starts removing the collected debris as the carriage continues upward. When the rake reaches the discharge it moves out over the chute as the wiper cleans off the debris. The debris then falls down the chute into a washing compactor, bin or conveyor.
Bar Screen Monster is available with bar spacings of 3/8 inch (10mm) and up. Debris is removed at the discharge level by a pivoted wiper with UHMW blade and conveyed to the discharge point.
